Damien Mowlam Master of Arts – Recreation Management, Adv Dip Bus. Management
Chief Executive Officer
Damien has been the CEO of TRY since April 2007 and previously was with the YMCA as CEO of its Ararat and Moonee Valley centres. TRY commenced operations in 1883 and is one of the oldest charities in Australia. Today, TRY operates from over 60 sites with annual turnover of $30M employing 400 plus staff across a range of program areas. |

Chief Finance Officer
Lorensz, is a CPA, holds qualifications in accounting, computing and administration. He has worked in a number of industries and government funded enterprises, including retailing, wholesaling, bio-tech, education, auditing, research and community services. |

Sharon Smith Bachelor of Education - Early Childhood Education
General Manager, Children Services
Sharon has throughout her teaching career advocated and created specialised kindergarten programs for children that have experienced trauma/abuse in their lives, working in partnership with the Victorian Protective Service and allied medical specialists. Sharon has mentored Master of Education students and has been involved in senior management and advisory roles for many years. |

Kevin Ekendahl B.Business (Enterprise Development)
General Manager, Social Enterprises
Kevin started with TRY in 2009 after working for several years in the Media industry. He worked for a metropolitan radio station & major newspaper in Melbourne and regional radio stations in Albury/Wodonga. He has extensive experience in advertising and campaign management. Kevin is responsible for our portfolio of social enterprises which includes fundraising (Clayton Bingo Centre and Street Collections), our Registered Training Organisation and our Morwell based Property Services. |

Tricia Ciampa MBA
General Manager, Youth Services
Tricia commenced her career at TRY in 1996 at the Doncaster Activities Centre and ultimately, was appointed to the role of General Manager, Children’s Services. Tricia was instrumental in the growth of our children’s services and ensuring their high quality. After a family break in 2010, Tricia returned as the General Manager of Youth Services overseeing the Big Brothers Big Sisters, Kids Who Care, Best Buddies, Cadets and Just BU programs. |

Greg Lavis Graduate Certificate in Business (Executive Administration) – underway
Corporate Services Manager
After a career in administration in a range of organisations including the Australian Regular Army and the Victorian Public Service, Greg started at TRY in 2009. Initially, as Personal Assistant to the CEO, he became responsible for managing information technology and telecommunication services and managing the fit out and relocation to our new corporate offices in Flemington. In June 2011, Greg was appointed Corporate Services Manager with responsibility for Accounting Services, Information Technology and Telecommunications, Corporate HR and managing our Corporate Offices. |
