Description

Showgrounds Children's Centre is seeking a dedicated early childhood educators to provide a high quality educational program to our children.  We are currently seeking applications from both Certificate III and Diploma qualified educators.  Showgrounds Children’s Centre has recently welcomed a new Centre Director and we want to build our team with our growing enrolments to ensure we are providing a high quality early learning program. 

You will show an understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework and Standards.

There is a great opportunity for connecting with the community and building networks and relationships with all stakeholders.

Selection Criteria

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care OR Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Ability to demonstrate a working understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning and Development Framework

• Previous experience would be an advantage

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proven knowledge and understanding of child development

• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR training

• Current and Valid Working with Children Check and Police Record Check (mandatory)

• Flexibility is required to attend early evening meetings and ability to work a rotating roster, according to the centre requirements
