TRY Community Family Xmas Function – 23 December 2013

On December 23, 2013 TRY Australia conducted A Christmas Family Fun Day at its Bingo Centre in Clayton.

Jumping castles, face painting, balloon twisting, arts and crafts and the presence of a magician entertained around 400 people from the local community;  from the very young to the young at heart.  Many of the magic moments were captured by a roving photographer to preserve the precious memories.

Christmas carols were sung with gusto by children and parents alike!

Santa’s chef and his merry helpers produced several courses of finger food treats that ensured that guests did not go hungry.

Santa popped in towards the end of the day, delighting the 200 young children present, (and many mothers/grandmothers who still believe in Santa), with Christmas gifts  and much joy, capping off a thoroughly enjoyable family day.

On behalf of those who attended and TRY, our sincerest thanks must go to the 30+ volunteers who gave their time generously and worked very hard with the planning, preparation, running and clean-up of the event. The time and effort committed made the day a great success and made many children and their families very happy in the process.

TRY Australia Family Days are a new community initiative for the Clayton facility, with further events planned for 2014, including a Family Fun Day at Easter.
