On Sunday July 29, 20,000 people flocked the city to take part in Run Melbourne. For many this event is more than a fun run, it is an opportunity to fund raise for a charity, all while being active with friends and family.
We asked our supports, staff and volunteers to help us change a life by taking part in Run Melbourne and fundraising. As a result, Team TRY collectively ran a whopping 127KM and raised $4808, well above our original target. This will enable TRY to further support more young people, and ultimately match them with a positive adult role model for a 12-month period through our TRY Mentoring program.
General Manager of TRY Mentoring Sheryl LeGood said:
“We were thrilled with the commitment and passion from our runners and support from our donors in advocating and fundraising to support vulnerable young people gain a mentor”.
Well done to all involved, and thank you to everyone who donated. There is still an opportunity to donate to our cause, by clicking here.
